This is actually a publicly traded company called Memberworks. Presumably they don't want any touble with the SEC. If you get through to a representative, he/she will immediately refund any amount charged to your credit card. Try calling late at night. This approach worked for me in getting rid of $159.95 they somehow slipped onto my credit card.
