I purchased business cards from Vistaprint.com on 10/12/04. Upon completion of submitting my order, a banner for $10.00 of my next order at Vistaprint appeared. I closed the window upon seeing I had to sign up for a service. On 11/10/04 a charge of 9.95 was charged to the same credit card I used to pay for my Vistaprint order. The following is what appeared on my credit card. 11/10/2004 AP9*BUSINESSMAX , 888-584-2217 , CT $9.95
11/11/2004 OVERLIMIT FEE $29.00
I called the toll free number and asked what the charge was for. I was asked my home phone number and had to verify my home address. I had never heard of this company. I spoke with Dehsay-#9274 at said number. She told me I had received emails notifying me that my 30 day trial had expired and needed to cancel prior to this date. She informed me I signed up for this service. I don't even know what the service is. I have to assume Vistaprint forwarded my credit card information. Deshay provided me with the Corportate Headquarters address of 9500 West Dodge, Omaha, NB 68114.

Upon searching for this business, I found the parent company is MWI. As listed with the BBB, this company has the following AKA's:

The Better Business Bureau has suspended this company's membership as of October 2003, pending a government action. What, if any, is the outcome of this investigation?

I also found a settlement in the State of California

How is it possible for this company to continue to do business and intentionally mislead consumers. I never authorized or gave my credit card to this company. I am outraged that companies can share my credit card number without my knowledge.

I look forward to someone contacting me in regards to this matter and advise what actions are being done to prevent this from happening to other unsuspecting consumers.

I would like the 9.95 credited to my credit card, along with the 29.00 my credit card company charged me for an overlimit fee. I have also spent 2.5 hours on the phone with both Businessmax and Vistprint. In additon to time on the phone, I have spent time researching this company and their unethical business practices.
