MWI SIMPLE ESCAPES ripoff!!
I have a charge on my credit card, on June 7th 2002 for "MWI Simple Escapes" for $84. I never heard of them, I have recieved nothing from them. I discovered this this morning by surfing the net that I am far from alone. What can we do?

Call the phone number you find next to the name MWI on your statement. OR try one of these:
1-800-955-2625
1-800-809-3795
1-877-503-4052
1-800-808-3795, they will help you. Call them and say you need your money back ASAP. Without your AUTHORIZING the charges, they have to give your money back.
Get the NAME of the person you are talking with and their ID code #. Ask them WHO SELLED you the "Simple Escape" membership. (Possibly somebody you paid with your credit card in the last 6-12 months.)Call the alleged seller too. Mentioning the words: lawyer, attorney general, ftc, credit card fraud, FBI, etc. can help to refresh their memory.
If they claim they have a taped record,that you authorized the membership, request the record...
Call your credit card company, dispute the unathorized charge. They will send you a form. On the form give them detailed description how you tried to get back your money from MWI.
CLOSE your credit card account, and request a new one, before you get more charges for other MWI memberships.
