Complaint Review: MWI Sweet Escapes

I was checking my banking account information when I noticed a withdrawal for $9.95 from MWI Sweet Escapes. Like many others I had never heard of this company before. After locating their phone number, I called the company and canceled my membership. Then once I was finally able to talk to a human being I asked how the company received my information and they said that I authorized the membership through classmates.com. Although, I had recently renewed my membership through classmates.com, I do not recall ever agreeing to their membership. After telling the customer rep for MWI Sweet Escapes that I would like a refund, and after some reluctance, she did promise that I would have a full refund within two days.

So, to anyone in this same predicament, do not give up. Call 877-836-6903 and do not give up until you have all of your money refunded. I was lucky that only $9.95 was taken out, but how much of a mess could I of had been in, if I didn't check my account regularly on the internet?
