I applied online for a payday loan. I was matched with many lenders and my inbox was filled with offers from $200-$1500. I decided not to go through with the loan and deleted all of the potential offers. This morning, I checked my account to see that I was charged a fee by mycashguardian.com which overdrafted my account.  I called my bank who gave me the number to contact the company. I spoke to a young lady who spoke English. She told me that they charge a convenience fee to help me obtain a loan and that I should have received an email that explains how to decline the service. I asked her how would I know to read an email to decline a service I did not request for a payday loan I did not complete? She said that I would be refunded the fee in up to seven business days and gave me a case ID number (270371).

This company should not be allowed to do this and the NSF fee I received should be refunded as well.
