Complaint Review: My Creative Brands

Just a warning about the business practices of My Creative Brands or MCB.tv as they are known on their website. They have sales processes for their phone sales staff that have them click on advertisers ads on Google so that they can contact the business to sell them a domain name. Last week a client of mine received a click on their paid ad on Google advertising their bankruptcy attorney services costing the client over $15.00 all so they can call the customer via email or the phone and sell them a domain name that they think is valuable. When I replied to the sales person that we did not appreciate this method of finding new business for them at the expense of Google advertisers I received this reply from Brian who I'm guessing by the tone of the email is a supervisor:

XXXXXXX, (NAME REMOVED)

Just ignore these types of emails and keep up the good work.

It was obvious that this company doesn't care how the sell their domain products and if they do it on the backs of advertisers on Google. If they have such disregard for their business practices one could imagine this poor and dishonest tact would be applied to all areas of their businesses and could end up affecting their future customers.

The practice of clicking on paid ads on Google by advertising companies is common, sometimes a company or sales representative isn't aware of the impact to the budgets of the companies they are targeting and it is just a part of advertising on Google but the total FU response that this Brian person from My Creative Brand sent to me in response to my initial complaint to the offending sales rep is just way over the top. I can't imagine what this company does to it's customers if he takes this approach with a simple complaint to his company.
