I worked for the butt-clowns at My Lineage, Inc. and it was the worst experience of my life. They paid me to lie, but later I realized that I had a conscience. Ultimately, I was fired for threatening a sexual harassment claim against Evan, the homosexual office clerk. After I was let go, as hard as I tried, I could not shake the guilt of having deceived the fighting men and women of the U.S. Armed Services.

The interview process was exciting. The opportunity for travel was alluring. The product had potential. However, the company chose to cheat at every chance, lie about every detail and escape their obligations at any opportunity. My Lineage, Inc. sells a product at several times its retail value. How much exactly? Let's break it down into understandable terms: It's like charging a Marine $5 for a two-liter of Pepsi. Repeat the sale 100x and it’ll add up to the cost and total profit of the average garbage unit they sell.

The company operates like its central business philosophy was modeled after Bernie Madoff. Like Bernie Madoff, they ought to be brought up on charges of deceptive advertising, billing and collection practices – if not categorical fraud. It’s fake like that. They claim professional historians research the history of each solder’s lineage, but it’s not that specific. It’s generic like calling every blue pill ‘Viagra,’ but the end result is underwhelming and less substantial. They string the solders along by sending bogus updates by e-mail and text, which is a marketing tool so that the customer believes that something is actually happening during the seven month payment period. Let’s stop the suspense – they’re doing nothing. And sometimes – at the eleventh hour – My Lineage, Inc. will self-cancel that order at 90% completion so they can charge back the full commissions paid to the salesperson. Then, they use the money collected from the canceled order to finance new sales trips and enlist the newly enlisted in the scam; the cycle starts over. Meanwhile, the operations department works with their fingers crossed and hope that the customer doesn’t call to inquire as to why he hadn’t received the merchandise.

What seems attractive about the deal – the shield, sword or ring – is a low-quality, low-cost product that, if put comparatively, has more in common with Section 8 than Rodeo Drive. Many of the same items manufactured by the same supplier can be purchased online for a fraction of the bloat My Lineage, Inc. adds as a premium.  Other reviews of this company show links to sites like Amazon if you have an interest in the display without wanting to pay My Lineage’s mark-up.

In the end, I felt the experience was unimpressive. In fact, it has led to personal disappointment because I never should have manipulated the truth for a paycheck at the request of My Lineage, Inc. I see the truth very clearly now: My Lineage is bad news, and to do business with them is to do business with the devil. Their company headquarters is a house of cards built on a fault line. One day, when they have exhausted the sales talent in San Diego to a degree that they’re left with drunkards and potheads, only the oblivious will continue to solicit employment from this troupe of cutthroats.

My advice to the brave soldiers of America is to stay away from the golden tablecloth. My Lineage, Inc. will deceive you, manipulate you, steal from you and lie to you if you let them. The bad apples of the company are at the top of the tree, and every branch is rotten at its core. Behind the charming smiles are fangs; their owners have no souls. They are corrupt because there is no limit their greed. They do not offer any product of significant value – yet they advertise it like it’s a magic carpet ride. We all know there are no magic carpet rides, but you’ll soon be sold one if you pause long enough in front of their booth.
