My Mortgage Store of Lehighton, PA Pamela Fludgate FRAUDSTER ALERT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Lehighton Pennsylvania
This is more of a fair warning for unsuspecting mortgage loan originators than it is for mortgage clients... although mortgage clients should also take heed. I was recruited to work for this company by a colleague. I attempted to put three loans through this "broker"; and I only ended up closing one of them (thank goodness). Please understand I use the term "broker" very sparingly. Pamela Fludgate is in fact a mortgage broker. She runs this business out of her homes in PA and FL. She never did provide me with a lender list or any other normal tools to assist in generating loans because she prefers to put all of her deals through her warehouse lines, I am not sure she is even an approved lender with any other bank. I have been in this industry for 6 years now and have worked for a few companies. I have never seen a lack of professionalism, disorganization or ineptitude.
Now, to the deal I actually put through them and did not pull- the "processor" screamed at my client, and when the client stood up to her they purposefully and out of spite delayed the closing. This was to show they had some type of power over the clients. Apparently, something as serious as the home someone lives in is a joke or a game. I guess that is the result of Pam and her processor sitting around drinking all day. Anyway, the loan closed (after the unnecessary delay) and I waited 6 week to be paid (on a purchase). When I did receive my only commission for three plus months (by the time I got set up with them and then pulled my license to go with an actual, professional company) it was $3,500 short!!!!!!! A quick google search indicates her husband Mark also has a history of ripping people off and stealing money that isn't his. I wish I had done this prior; my mistake.
Please, please please take my warning. If Pamela tries to recruit you to work for her- save yourself the headache of having your clients screamed at and your money stolen. If she attempts to do a loan for you, it's a roll of the dice I suppose. I can't speak for any clients but the three I subjected to her (one of my other clients was also screamed at); but make sure you know what type of person you are dealing with.

Clearly, this rebuttal just emphasizes the point that Mrs. Fludgate is a lying and deceptive person.
1. I never said I was a licensed loan originator for six years- I stated that I had been in the industry for six years; I did sell other financial products. My NMLS record (which Pamela had no right to access as our realtionship has terminated and post online as it contains confidential information) shows this. I am pretty certain NMLS information being used in this manner is illegal.
2. The 3,500 sq. foot facility she makes reference to is not her mortgage office, it is a mixed use building and there is plenty of record online for this as she had issues getting all of her permits and had to attend a hearing of some sort with the local government. There is a hair salon and a pet store at this location and the building is also listed for sale. I was also never invited to or informed of any training here though I did offer to come to PA at my own expense to work with them for a week this past summer.
3. Mark Fludgate has been sued by a former employee for not fulfilling contractual allegations- also well documented.
4. The reason I worked for four different companies is because I was recruited to work for My Mortgage Store and then had to find a new company- which I was in the process of doing BEFORE June; when Pam (screaming hysterically, as usual) stated she did not wish to continue the relationship after I asked a clear and direct question about a file. I had already seen what type of person she was and decided to move on. The fact that I have worked with 4 companies is a situation she created that I now have to deal with.
5. None of my loan applicants were not qualified and the other two have successfully transferred their files over to my new company with no problems. They also both have excellent (750+) blemish-free, credit scores and sufficient assets - so to say they are unqualified is amusing and childish. Apparently this is an effort to make me look bad. Sometimes people apply for loans and are not able to qualify; this does not make the loan originator a bad loan originator- though that is not even the case here.
6. No one is trying to extort anyone. I want her to honor her contractual obligation to compensate me 2.5% of the loan (which is industry standard). This is what I earned and this is what I am owed. Since she has failed to do this and the deadline I gave her has now passed I am preparing a complaint to file in court.
Also, I think the mere fact that I prepared a concise and detailed complaint, where the facts can be easily verified and she posted a bunch of nonsensical ramblings , as well as posted perosnal information about me - it is clear who is the truthful person here. Again, beware of working for her. I can't really say that she is not a good broker because I didn't stick around long enough to find out but she is clearly dishonest as some of what she posted herself is a lie.

Janice was hired in April 2015, by June we told her we could no longer do business with her once her loan closed. Janice's lack of knowledge in the industry is very harmful to a company. Janice has tried to extort us for money by bully tactics. Please feel free to contact us for further information. She states in her review that she has been in the industry for 6 years, please look at her name in the NMLS under consumer access, she only became licensed in 2/2014 and has held four jobs since then.
If you are in this industry, then you also understand her own review does not even make sense. Janice feels is it her perogative to receive all of the compensation generated by a file.
Janice never attended her training in our 3,500 square foot commercial building in Lehighton, PA as she was supposed to do. Janice's lack of knowledge put several client's at risk becuase they did not qualify for a mortgage at all and she had them sign cAOS's. To any future employer, please feel free to contact us for documented information in regard to her. This is what you will end up dealing with.
Here is her own self-reported employment history
We take great pride in what we do, and how well we do it.
