Complaint Review: My Poupette

My Poupette Took my money and then completely ignored me - Defrauded by the so-called Protectors of Fraud! Internet

On 4/29/09 I paid My Poupette $30 to authenticate 2 designer purses. They send me an invoice confirming the order and charged my credit card. I spent a good deal of my very limited time creating and sending them detailed photos and info on the bags, as requested.

Then.... NOTHING. AT ALL.

I have tried to contact them at least 4 times since then (last emailed them 6/20/09) and have not been answered in any way. I have tried every email address they have (including of course the address which sent me the order confirmation.) I also contacted them through their web site contact forms. I have ended up having to try to cancel the transaction through my credit card, since My Poupette will not respond.

I am especially angered since they are supposed to be in the business of protecting people against fraud and instead are committing it themselves! More than the loss of money, what angers me is the loss of my precious time and adding irritation to my life.

PLEASE file a report to the Federal Trade Commission - easy, fast, online - if My Poupette took your $ and did not perform the service, like me. They will investigate, but only if they see a pattern of multiple victims.
