MY VOICEMAIL NETWORK, INC RIP OFF, UNAUTHORIZED CHARGES Internet
I recieved a charge of $13.79 on my phone bill for a voicemail service I didn't order.
If I had wanted a voicemail service I would have went through ATT.
I called the number on my phone bill and was given a cancellation number but told I needed to send a written formal request to their company to get the current charges reversed.
Since I had never heard of that I asked to speak with a supervisor because I knew I had never signed up for this service. I was then told yes I did have this service but that she did not have a supervisor I could speak to I would just have to send correspondence vial regular mail.
That is when I said please give me the address to send the request to and then I am going to contact the BBB and ATT (whom I have phone service through) because I don't know of any reputable company that doesn't have a supervisor I could speak to. She could have at least given me a number to call.
That is when she decided to hang up on me. I immediatelycalled ATT and was helped by a very nice customer service rep who was able to remove the charges from my bill after I explained the situation.
No one should have to go through all of this for a service they did not authorize. Also, ATT should not have to deal with people like this. They have very poorly trained employees and with no customer service experience.
I can see how many people have had difficulties with them after the time I had.
