In August of 2013 my wife and I contacted mybasicessentials.com a Mr. Dustin King, to purchase two 250 gallon fresh water storage tanks, and fittings.  The tanks were promised in 10 to 14 days.

By mid September we had seen nothing show, so I enquired and he claimed they had been shipped.  This stretched into late September when after threatening, we finally received the tanks.  The tanks showed on the back of a delivery truck.  They were not palleted, were sitting on the dirty truck floor wrapped only in a plastic bag.  While this made me upset, we'd been waiting (did I mention we had to have to have these to finish a new room addition.  The builders could not close up the addition w/o the tanks being inside, which Mr. King knew).

Since it was dark and raining, we brought the tanks inside, and found in the light, that both of the tanks had been gouged through, making them unable to hold water, especially drinking water.  I immediately contacted Mr. King.

He assured me they would be immediately replaced.  After weeks of asking where the replacements were, he then stated he was waiting on the insurance from the carrier.  I stated this was not my problem, he had improperly shipped, and as a dealer / sales company it was his responsibility to replace - he had even stated this!

Now weeks later (January of 2014) Mr. King refuses to contact us, refuses to replace, and won't even return email.

mybasicessentials.com and Mr. Dustin King should NOT be used under any circumstance.  We should have read the signs... he had even told my wife that the reason our first order was so long was he was unable to run our credit card, as his account had been closed over disputes that weren't due to his issues.  NOW we know this was not the case.

I hope to save others this hassle and heartache.  Stay Away!
