MyCashGuardian Scam, Payday loan, insurance, efinancial , Internet
A few days ago I looked for insurance quotes on efinancial.com. Someone called me to complete the information but I hung up when he started asking about past bankruptcies and income information. Beginning the next day I received up to 10 calls per hour and 20 text messages per day about payday loans. I have not applied for any payday loan! A few times when I answered the phone, people were asking if I want to complete my payday loan info. I told them to stop calling. Once person I told I requested an insurance quote, not a loan. All of them hung up as I was talking.
Today I look into my bank account and I see a $29.95 withdrawal from My Cash Guardian. I can only guess that this is somehow linked to this same scam but I did NOT provide ANY bank account info. I wasn't going to start a policy without going directly to the websites of the company. So HOW was this charge made???
There is some scam going on. Do not go to efinancial.
