Complaint Review: MyCityRocks

I wanted tickets for an event, and went to a link that was made to look like ti was affiliated with the venue. They make up fake websites to trick the consumer into thinking they are going to a legitmate website to buy actual tickets. Now, my event was not for months, and I was excited to get tickets as a present. The prices seemed high, but they gaurenteed the seat section that you wanted. I chose my section of choice for the location and checked out, thinking I was gaurenteed the seats I wanted. Wrong! Not only does this site not actaully have the tickets you buy, but my particular event happened to be in the parking lot of the venue (it is a festival style concert)! They are trying to gaurentee seats to the venue, when the location is the parking lot! Talk about fruad! I was charged $300.00 for tickets that are actually $26.00 a piece, general admission. Illegal, illegal, illegal. I contacted the company and asked for a refund based on their total lie and breach of the gaurentee, and they said no. I then contacted my credit card company, and recieved a refund because this company is clearly in breach of any "contract" they have you agree to through the purchase. Don't shop here, and watch for tricks like this where a website is generated to mirror a reliable source, and just leads to one of these fraud sites.
