MyDenimJeanz.com Ripped Off By MyDenimJeanz - DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SITE!!! INTERNET
On November 08, 2008, I placed an order for a pair of gym shoes for my son. He'd been on the internet, and was having a hard time finding a particular pair of shoes. Once he did, he brought the site to my attention, and I ordered them. I should have been a little more careful, and investigated further. I started getting a little nervous when I realized these people don't even have a contact number to track an order! I had to get the contact number from my bank statement, and only an answering service picks up.
After waiting over a month, I contacted MyDenimJeanz by e-mail to check the status of my order, informing them that if my order had not shipped at that time I would prefer a refund. It took them FOUR DAYS to respond, and even then it was a fluffed up response stating they would "send me a confirmation e-mail when my order has shipped".
Well it is now January 7, 2009, and there has been no feedback from the site, even though I have threatened them with everything but a cattle prod.
I called my bank, and was told that the Visa department can reverse the charge as long as the time frame of 30 days has passed. I just have to write them a letter explaining what happened.
How are individuals allowed to get away with this type of fraudulent activity? Is there no one to monitor, cite, or prosocute these people? If robbing people is this easy, then I see no reason why Internet crimes will not increase dramatically.
