MyDriversLicenses.org Charging people for DMV forms and services London Internet
My husband and I had moved to another city in Pennsylvania and I knew we needed to change our driver's licenses within 15 days. After researching online through the DMV website, I learned it could be completed online so when the time came, I typed in Driver's License change of address into Google. The very first website that came up was MyDriversLicenses.org/Pennsylvania which claimed to be able to get my address changed quickly online. I didn't even realize it wasn't the DMV until I reached the 4th page where it asked me for my credit card information to bill me $22.00 for this change.
I knew that wasn't correct because I specifically researched that this change would be free unless there were specific exceptions. So I called my local DMV number and I was able to complete the whole change of address on an automated phone call for no charge.

Total nonsense! I clicked on an icon that read "Renew Drivers License" and after I filled out the forms I realized I purchased some ridiculous road guide you can find on the internet for free.
You and your company is a total lie. I wonder how long you'll be around.
Thank you!

The company changed their set up to include a half page pop-up that states they are a private company and not affiliated with the DMV. Thank you for your integrity as a company!

Just as someone impersonating an officer is a criminal offense up to a felony, so should impersonating official government websites. I will be looking into what legal process can be pursued unless the website is changed to accurately reflect your unofficial status.
Change your website!

As the company representative clearly stated.... they are NOT affiliated with the DMV. They need to have that statement prominently displayed all over their page so consumers are not fooled by their page setup. Your company is not representing themselves with integrity otherwise. Make the changes or further damage will come to your reputation.

I don't know whether I'm more ashamed or angry that I fell for mydriverslicense.org's tactic of baiting people into think they are the DMV. I'm computer-saavy and have never been so foolish before. I know my state has online driver's lisense renfewals, so I Googled "driver's lisense MA" and this is one of the first websites that come up. The MA DMV uses some "generic" websites for thier forms, so mydriverslicense.org simplly looked like more of the same. It wasn't until my payment of $22 was cleared that I was presented with...a .pdf. I'm furious.
This is proof that mydriverslicense.org is a scam: no one in this day and age would pay $22 for information available for free on the web. No. One. I'm furious at the company--someone needs to do something.
Make Website Clearer

If this company wishes to not deceive the public, they need to make sure their website clearly states they are not the DMV and that they will be charging for their services up front. It feels like a scam because their process wasn't any faster than the actual DMV. I get that everyone is entitled to make money through legal means, but this company deliberately fashioned their page to impersonate the official DMV pages.
