MyDV.co.uk Took extra money from my bank sent no goods at all and made excuses West Roxbury Massachusetts

I bought a Nikon D70sDigital camera & Lens over the internet on November 14th 2005 from a UK based company called MyDV.CO.UK only to find that it was actually a US based organization. They stated that the goods would arrive within 7 - 10 days.

The outfit was supposed to cost 729.99 sterling but this company took 792 from my bank account. They claimed that it was a currency fluctuation. How can the UK have a currency fluctuation when I am supposed to be buying from a UK company?

It is now over 4 weeks since I placed my order and I have spoken to their Customer Services on the phone - IN BAGALORE INDIA. They have made all sorsts of excuses why they cannot refund my money.

I asked why they have not sent the goods and they have given promises for at least 2 weeks that it would be sent out the following day. This has never happened and I now want to take legal action against this company, not just for fraudulently taking money and sending no goods but for taking money from my bank account that they had absolutely no right whatsoever to do. This is theft.

I have emailed the Attorney Generals office in Massachusetts but i have had no response from them. This is NOT a UK company and they are ripping off unsuspecting people knowing that they cannot be touched because they are in the USA. I just hope Uncle Sam can send a tax inspector along to meet Mr Paradies and ask him how he came by all this money that he has acquired from the UK.
