Complaint Review: MyFootInTheDoor.com

Michael Scholl has a history of throwing temper tantrums in business and on 4 occasions over the past two years he has screamed and yelled like a child and hung up the phone. I was asked to help with a video presentation several weeks ago for them. I put in 30 hours of design and video work. I completed the presentation and asked them for text copy repeatedly and they never sent. Then, they called two days before the presentation and asked for the final piece. I told them to send me the copy and I would complete immediately and they never replied to any phone call or email for 3 weeks. I requested that they only pay for the template I purchased on their behalf, $50, and it took them 7 weeks before they finally paid the $50.

In this case, I was again asked for create services to design a landing page. I told them I no longer wanted to do work for them, but Bosko Lazic proceeded to beg until I felt sorry for him and gave in. I quoted the job at $300-$500, and that I wouldn't know the definite until we got into the work, he agreed. After 28 total proofs and three levels of revisions over 4 weeks, I told him that the total charge was $450 and that it needed to be paid before more work would be done, but that any revsions post payment would be complimentary.

In that period my Father was diagnosed with cancer and my Grandmother passed away, through all that I continued to work on revisions and new designs for them. He said he would pay last week, then didn't reply, then he said Tuesday, then didn't reply, then told me he had a relative died, which I think was mocking my death in the family, then he said Wednesday, then no reply, then he said Friday and now I received an email stating that they no longer needed my services and that they would only be paying $300. $300 for 28 graphic design proofs and 30 total hours of work. These two are the epitome of uncreative and unprofessional.

During my work for them, I did a Google  search on My Foot In THe Door and found the previous case on RipOffReport. I brought that up to Bosko and Mike and Mike again through a temper tantrum and would not reply to a single email, text or call. I felt that the statements Mike made were very biggoted and anti-foreigner. The level of their unprofessionalism is shown clearly by Michael's response and the website he took the time to build and host against his previous employee. Do professionals act this way or do children?

I have two children and a wife to support and have been helping these two out at a very low cost because they are friends. They have abused that relationship and cost me a lot of money that goes to supporting my family. Michael and Bosko were both Best Man at my wedding. It shows you that if they can treat a best friend like this they are not to be involved with in any manner.

Judging by their previous childish retaliations, I would assume they will try to publicly deface me and create a website mocking me, but I felt it necessary
