Complaint Review: MyIProducts

MyIProducts billed $14.95 on my AT&T bill 2x for alleged contracted service.I called 2x to cancel. Call FCC! Forest Lake Minnesota

MyIProducts billed me 2x for $14.95 on my monthly AT&T bill. I called them in Jan 08 at 888-301-3724 to cancel the charge and refund me. Guy says he will cancel the $14.95 and gave me a confirmation number, but there will still be a $2.95 charge. I said no- there will be no charge as I never used this service. Then, my Feb 08 AT&T bill arrived - again $14.95 and I call again and I ask to speak to a manager. A "billing specialist" gets on and says that I signed an electronic signature to a contract. I ask that she send me a copy of the alleged contract via US postal service. Billing specialist refused and said "we don't do that- we only email your confirmation". I told her if I cannot read the contract and have it mailed to me, then it is not legal. I ask for the company address and who owns the company. She said I would have to write the company in Lake Forest to request that information. She gave me a PO Box 744, Forest Lake, Minnesota 55025.

Now I am incensed and call AT&T to tell them I will cancel my account with them unless they reverse these charges. AT&T puts me on hold for 20 minutes. I hang up and call back and said "Do not put me on hold". Then AT&T clerk said all those charges will be reversed. Then I ask if AT&T has a contract with MyIProducts and she said no, that FCC allows 3rd party access. So I said I will complain to FCC about this company.
