7/08 - We received a monthly charge of $14.95 from an "outside company" on our AT&T phone bill this month. We called the 800 286 4455 listed and the rep said one of our family members had not responded to an email, and therefore we were automatically signed up. How ridiculous is that? We never even saw the email - it must have gone straight into our junk folder.

To make things worse, they said they would not refund the charge already placed on the phone bill. I threatened legal action and she connected me to a "cancellation specialist" who immediately refunded the charge without questions. It sounds like they're used to this.

These guys apparently play a numbers game - they see 1) how many people they can fool upfront with their email scam, and 2) how many people they can get at least one month's charges out of.

Also - this charge appeared with another one from sbo-online.org ($15.25/ month for some small business website crap). Another scam, both billed under the name "Enhanced Services Billing Inc." on our AT&T bill.

Scam!!!! I hope these guys get shut down soon!
