Mystic Custom Pool & Spa took a check for $6540.00 on one day cashed it another closed the next! Tucson Arizona
Is this intentional or what?...On Monday, Oct.1,2007, I went to Mystic pools place of business to pick out tile for my pool, wrote them a check for $6,540.00 for the next phase slated to start on Wed. Oct,3. But on Tues. Oct. 2, they cashed my check and closed their doors for good! On Fri. the coowner called to let me know that there wouldn't be anyone coming to finish the pool... at all. They were going "BK". My question to the public: Is it theft if you accept and cash a check knowing that the VERY next day you intend to go "BK" (bankrupt) for all of you, like myself, are not in the know? Wouldn't a person with contience at least give back the money once they did know they were not going to finish the project? I cannot believe I now have to pay more money in order to leagally pursue this company. I also have to pay another compnay to finish the project and I may loose out on my "warrenty". Anyone care to help? Thanks.

Hello, my name is Dave and as luck would have it the company that you are commenting on is using my name. The name of my company is Mystic Blue Spas, Pools and Decks and I am located in Katy ,Texas and am definately not the pool company that you are referring to but am getting negative comments from consumers that think albeit wrong that it is me. Please if you can be more specific in your description about them I would appreciate it deeply. However in my state if someone had done this crooked act of thievery it would be grounds for fraud, theft and a whole string of other illegal acts and some of which are punishable by jail and more often than not that is where they end up as well they should.
