Some of the Crooked Homebuilders ARE Members of N.A.H.B.

Some homebuilders are honest. HOWEVER, a huge amount aren't.

Shoddy construction (in order to line the pockets of the crooked homebuilders) is a growing problem, indeed.

Leaving out materials is also a growing problem. Leaky roofs, cracking foundations in newly built, expensive houses...is ridiculous. (This is even happening in homes that cost the homebuyer $150-$350,000, for example.)
These fraudulent homebuilders are not being enforced...at all. No matter whom you file complaints with, it will fall upon deaf ears.

It's time that our government listens to the CONSUMERS !!!

We are losing our rights, people. It is being done in a way that they think we won't notice...but we do.

The N.A.H.B. is one of the BIGGEST political contributors, that there are. (That can be verified.)

The members of the N.A.H.B. include such people as David Weekley. (I'm sure you've heard of "Weekley Homes" - There have been MANY consumer complaints about THOSE homes that have been built, and lawsuits filed.)

Another member of the N.A.H.B. is Richard Fuller, of "Richard Fuller Homes" (was Richard Fuller. He was recently deceased.)We've all heard of "Fuller Homes" lawsuits. (TX; OK; and NM)

Right now...the N.A.H.B. are trying to get the following laws passed through Congress, for every state (state by state):

The N.A.H.B. wants all future homebuyers to HAVE to agree to "Binding Arbitration".

- "Binding Arbitration" is NOT done by an "unbiased" third party (like they want you to believe.) - & almost always sides with everyone BUT the consumer/homebuyer.

- "Binding Arbitration" costs much, much more...than taking a lawsuit to court.

- "Binding Arbitration" also usually includes a "gag order", whereas the consumer/homebuyer cannot ever talk of their case again. (AND WARN OTHER CONSUMERS ABOUT THE FRAUDULENT HOMEBUILDER/activities)

- "Binding Arbitration" is being hollered by people who are for so-called "lawsuit reform". (& most of them have been sued.)
It is quite obvious, that homebuyers, and other consumers have better things to do with their time...than be faced with being tied up in court for 2 years...because of the fraudulent activities of these "people"...not to mention the out-of-pocket expenses.

(But on the flip side...the N.A.H.B./ and other homebuilders state: they have a "95 % customer satisfaction rating." (Then why holler about lawsuits ??? You can't have it BOTH ways. - something is not TRUE here.)

- Homebuyers give homebuilders MORE than enough time to fix their shoddy construction...before the homebuyers have to file a lawsuit, because it is their ONLY recourse.(We are talking approximately 2 years time...that they are allowing these fraudulent builders to fix things.)

Homebuyers would rather be enjoying their newly built home, picking out drapes, playing in their backyards...but because of these idiots...they have to end up in court.

The NAHB are trying to say that "Binding Arbitration" will also benefit homebuyers. This is absolutely not true. Not only have they hurt the consumer/homebuyer the first time around...but they want to keep hurting them...in order to make it easier for themselves. (Protect themselves from lawsuits.)

These fraudulent crooks need to be thrown in prison...and throw away the key.

The N.A.H.B. is one of the biggest political contributors/ The N.A.H.B. wants Congress to pass laws that will benefit ONLY them.
(The fraudulent builders who are ending up in lawsuits...are the ones who want these crazy laws passed.)

(Put 2 & 2 together. It's called "pay offs"; "bribes"; "political corruption".)They do not contribute political contributions just for the sake of helping their favorite political candidates...there is an ulterior motive here. Do the research.
