Nace Appliance and Repair in Dover, PA has the worst customer service ever! Nace Appliance used bait and switch on pricing then threatens to bill us for no service rendered when calling them on this obvious ploy. Don t use this business!!!

We went to Lowes in Hanover, PA after this offensive interaction with Nace Appliance and Lowes people not only verified our washer was no longer worth what Nace wanted to change for repair, but for $50 more we could purchase a brand new washer. 

The Lowes employee also verified that anyone in the appliance repair business would know what to charge with the description that was given over the phone to Nace. They also offered up the information that they knew of Nace and that Nace has a very bad reputation. And included that they would never recommend using Nace's service.

Then after doing a little research on the internet I find here on http://www.ripoffreport.com no less then 3 complaints filed on Nace Appliance in the last year and a half.

This business should be held accountable for appalling conduct, total lack of customer service. And Unconscionable, Deplorable Business Ethics!

This complaint was filed by Catherine Lockey ! This customer called our office and stated she needed a specific part. Mr. Lockey was given and estimate for that specific part and instructed we would have to send a tech out to her home to diagnose the unit fully. The service fee would be $75.00 and she would be given a complete estimate at that time. The tech found more problems with her unit then Ms. Lockey stated on the phone. She was given an estimate for the total repair . She declined the estimate and when the tech tried to collect the service from her she physically threw him out of her house. the owner of the company called her to advise she still has to pay the service fee, her reply was that she was a blogger and she was going to make his life HELL if he tried to collect! Then Mr. Lockey took the phone and threatened to kill the owner of the company. Ms. Lockey still has not paid the $75.00 service fee.
