When this magazine company called me they told me they were the magazine service, which is what the name of my actual magazine service is. They told me they were changing their name and undergoing a change in ownership and that they just needed to update their info.

They already had alot of information including what magazines I was getting and my old credit card number. I went through 4 different people verifiying information before I realized it wounded like I was buying more. When I told them I didn't want more I was happy with what I was getting now I would get transfered again and then had to start all over again.

The next day they called back and said they were sorry about the confusion the night before and that I was going to have to reverify everything because the trainee didn't do it correctly.

4 to 5 days later I end up with two bills for two different companies. Nadine and Worldwide readers service. I vaguely remember the name World wide readers service in the first conversation, but figured that was their new name.

I stopped both payments on my credit card immediately when I went on the internet to find out who these companies were, and saw the rip off site. As for the harrassing phone calls I just get as much info as possible.
