It sounded like a really good idea, so I invested. I needed all the help I could get. They promised we would get a return on our money. I had second thoughts and tried to get a refund. They refused. I did receive a benefit to my taxes so I was somewhat relieved.

Then they called for me to send my money for the second "modification". I told them I really didn't feel comfortable with it. They said I signed a contract and was required to complete all 3 "modifications". If I didn't proceed I would be in breach of contract and they would collect; however, it would cost me more and I would not get as much benefit from the program. Since I had actually benefited on my taxes for 2002, I went ahead and paid. Then they starting calling for me to invest even more for additional services. I refused. They starting calling several times a day, every day.

They never even sent me the tax information package for them to prepare my tax Returns for 2003 after I was assured several times that they were in the mail. I ended up paying another accountant to prepare my taxes with the information from last years Returns provided to him and the copies of the contracts, etc.

Now I find out NADN is bankrupt and the credits received are no good and I will now probably owe more than I would have to begin with and may not even be able to claim a deduction for the actual out of pocket expenses either. If I do actually have to pay as much as it appears, it will force ME into bankruptcy as well!!

Aaron:

I am the Department of Justice attorney handling the injunction case against NADN, Oryan Management, Success Matrix, and others. Please contact me regarding the grantwriters call and any contact from any other person that you think might be related to NADN (including CPR Business Solutions, Elite Solutions, Success Matters, Keyword Gold, and Diamond Marketing). My address is evan.j.davis@usdoj.gov.

If any other person reading this message has been contacted by any of the above-mentioned companies, please contact me at the e-mail address listed above and describe, in detail, the phone conversation. I am particularly interested in calls received after April 13, 2004 (the date on which we filed our lawsuit).

HOWEVER, I have been inundated with calls and e-mails from customers asking me for legal advice and what they should do about their own taxes. I am prohibited (by law) from answering those questions and suggest that anyone with questions about their own situation should contact an attorney, accountant, the IRS (1-800-829-1040), or the Nevada bankruptcy court.

I just received a call this morning (6/11/04) telling me that NADN had folded. I was thankful for being informed this. But then the woman at the end of the line asked if I wanted to purchase grant writing service!!!
