A well-known Urban Contemporary Detroit radio station allowed the NADN (National Audit Defense Network) to advertise a free tax guide for the first 40 consumers to call. I called and was told I was one of the first 40 and someone would call be back shortly to complete my certification. Surely some one called back, talked about how wonderful the tax book was but the shipping and handling was not included in the offer. I was told I needed to pay the shipping handling.

I did just that with my credit card. Then the game began with the quick talking sales pitch. He said he knows everyone who filed their taxes missed lots of deduction last year and that he could get back an additional $2,000 from my 2002 return. The conversation went on and on, but the short is the service cost $1400.00. I went on to tell him, no way, could not afford the service.

The service went down to $400.00 provided I Okayed the service at that point. I refused still and realized this had to be a scam. The next day I looked them up on the Internet and found so much negative information about the company, I called and had my credit card canceled. I later found out an attempt of $1400.00 was made against my credit card, against my authorization which I am disputing. If Sam Scott talks to be aware that he is number one rip artist.
