Namco LLC Manchester, CT Andrea Dalessil/ Manager and customer service rep Serena Blatantly sold me a winterizing pool kit under false pretenses. Blatant False Advertising! Manchester, Connecticut
This is a case of False Advertising period! I bought a Winter Kit for closing my pool from Namco. The box has a large green sticker on it stating "Everything you need to close your pool". It lists the contents inside the box as being 1 5x15 Ice Equalizer, 2 bottles of Winterizer, 2 Winter tabs, 1 pump protector, and 1 cover cleaner. Who am I to question what the "winterizer" has in it and what they all do together. I opened the box read the back of the "winterizer" which instructed me to add two gallons then add the sanitizer/shock. I was furious that they charged me $47.00 for "Everything I needed....etc" when I could have bought just the "winterizer @ $6.00 ea. and sanitizer @ $6.00 ea." seperately. Instead I have half of what I need and paid almost twice. My issue with Namco is that they are getting away with falsely advertising this winterizing kit as being "all inclusive for the price of $47.00". Please do something about this!!!!

Actually, the kits are a great deal I buy them every year because they are a big money saver. When purchased individually, the items are worth the following:
Winterizer x 2 @ $6 each = $12
Winter Tabs x 3 @ $6 each = $12
5x15 Pillow x 1 @ $25
Cover Cleaner x 1 @$6
Pump Protector x 1 @ $6
For a grand total of $61 and a savings of $14.
And you really should use all the items in the kit to properly winterize. The pillow keeps the ice from forming a solid sheet which could push the walls of your pool and cause damage.
