My father paid for his yearly membership in Nov 2011.  He passed away Jan 2012. Webshots company is sold back to original owners for the third time. In Aug, the company stopped providing service to its members. Announce Smile by Webshots as its replacement. Then Webshots was subsequently dismantled and all of the photos were deleted, Dec 2012. SMILE by Webshots is where you can store all of your photos for a fee. This service fails and then owners restart Webshots sometime between Jan 2013 and Sep 2013.  Sept 2013, 9 months later, begin charging former members a monthly fee, without authorization. I paid for my dad's membership, so they billed my credit card. I have contacted them, my bank and the FTC.  This is one of the most blatantly fraudulent acts I have ever seen and their legal disclaimer on their site allows them to do whatever they please.  These guys should be in jail.

Let me be clear, at no time did I authorize them to use my credit card, nor did I purchase from them. Shortly after their charges began appearing, my card gets a charge from out of the country on it and my bank's anti-fraud folks caught it before it could go through.  The two are connected.  Again, these guys should be in jail.
