Do not order rims from these fools. They have no idea what they are doing, the send you universal rims and tell you they will fit your car and they dont!! They even post a guide as to what cars the specific rims will fit and its not true. i bought rims from them for a eclipse i was thinking about selling, well i decided to buy the rims because they told me they would also fit on a volkswagen jetta i was looking at buying. so i thought great so if i do buy the rims but decide to sell my eclipse later on, then atleast the rims will fit the jetta i will buy.

Well i went to put the rims on for the jetta and they werent the right lug whole size. Everywhere i went to put them on i got the same answer, these are not the right rims for the car. When i called to tell them, they gave me the run around telling me they would fit and would not provide any solution. Eventually they told me i would need to purchase some conversion kit for my lugs so they would fit.

So, i purchased those not wanting to buy new rims. No one would put the rims on with the conversion lug kit because they told me it was not safe at all, the rims could come loose and fall off. So again i call Nates Wheels to tell them they need to exchange the rims for ones that fit and they tell me they will fit and those are the only rims they have.

I wound up getting into an argument with them over this and the guys there are calling me a p***y for not putting them on even though everyone said its not safe. They have horrible customer service, they are a joke and a wannabe rim shop. They send you the wrong product and do nothing about it. do not buy rims from there, even though their prices are pretty low, its not worth the headache. plus even though they swore the rims were brand new like advertisedd, they were all dirty, and chalky and the tires were all scuffed and scratched. If you are buying rims off EBAY or come accross them in your RIM search for your ride. make sure your not buying it from NATES WHEELS.

They screw you over, and do nothing to help. i was even hung up on twice!! what the hell is that??

This Guy Was Trying to Get Something for Free

#2REBUTTAL Owner of company

We sold this guy some wheels and tires for his Eclipse. At the time of purchase, there was absolutely no mention of a Jetta. That, however is irrelevant, because the wheels DO fit a Jetta. We have the exact same Jetta as one of our shop vehicles and we have put the exact same wheel this guy bought on our shop Jetta.

The part he says a dealership told him was unsafe was the lug conversion. The lug conversion converts a Volkswagen to having a lug nut configuration instead of a lug bolt configuration. He went to a Volkswagen dealership who told him it was unsafe. The fact of the matter is that the dealership probably had no clue what the bolt conversion did or how to install it. As they say, ingorance is bliss.

If the wheels this person received were scuffed up or damaged when he received them, I really wonder why he left us positive feedback on eBay. Seems kind of strange, huh?

If you look on our feeback on eBay, we have not received ONE negative feedback in the last 3 years. If we are ripping people off, why is it that we maintain such a positive history on eBay?

This guy wanted to return a used product to us and have us give him a full refund, and we refused. We are an honest dealership and we obviously know more than the dealership this guy brought his car to.

One final thought on the safety issue: If the lug conversion is so unsafe, why would a multimillion dollar company (not us, the manufacturer of the lugs) continue to produce them? And why would we continue to sell them? That would be a huge liability, and there's non way they would still be in production.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact us. Thanks.
