12 months ago, I went to see Nathan Nachlas regarding my deviated septum which was making nose-breathing quite difficult...I was wearing Breathe Right Strips all the time.

Nachlas' initial examination was utterly apathetic and not even cursory!. . .although he claimed that I "could either keep on using the Breathe Right Strips, or I could have him perform a one hour surgery".

I opted for the surgery and paid him more than $6,000 cash.

After Nachlas performed his septoplasty, I still could not breathe.

Actual reason being that the degree of the collapsing (internal) valve was still less than 10 degrees (it was STILL 3-4 degrees, actually). Nachlas should've corrected this during the septoplasty.

Nachlas then LIED and blamed his utter failure on some statistic!! (He said, "Gee, ya'know, one in every four thousand septoplasty procedures just plumb fails for some inexplicable reason :/ )

Nachlas was HIGHLY recommended to me by another doctor whom I trust(ed) implicitly.

Therefore I gave Nachlas an opportunity to correct his idiotic mistake.

After Nachlas' initial surgery, my internal valve was STILL collapsing and I was under the impression that Nachlas was going to install a 'Spreader Graft' -the type of graft used to correct a collapsing internal valve.

Nachlas is so utterly inept that he actually got his valves TOTALLY 100% mixed up!!!

During Nachlas' second operation on me, he installed a grossly invasive 'Alar Batten Graft' (used for external valve collapse!) instead of a "Spreader Graft" (used for internal valve collapse).

Suffice to say, now I cannot breathe at all through my nose!! He's made it 100% WORSE!!

Key point: I clearly asked before the 2nd. operation exactly from where Nachlas would be taking the cartilage for the (spreader) graft, and I was told in no uncertain terms that it would be taken from behind my ear.

However, Nachlas had something else in mind: he removed nothing from behind my ears but instead chiseled away almost ALL OF MY ENTIRE SEPTUM!!

Imagine waking up from what you thought to be a fairly innocuous operation to find your entire septum gone!! Now my nose is like Jello!

Suffice to say, now my nose doesn't work AT ALL! -It's MUCH worse than before I ever met Nachlas!

Nachlas has been extremely unhelpful since mutilating me: I took me LITERALLY six months (I eventually had to threaten him with a court order) to get him to release my paperwrok & photos.

I naively thought I'd checked Nachlas out before my initial operation. . .he was squeaky clean after my naive 'online' search.

And then I got my lawyer to check him out properly:

NACHLAS HAS BEEN SUCCESSFULLY SUED FOR NEGLIGENCE IN THE PAST TEN YEARS!! -The poor girl in question was duped into FOUR separate operations by Nachlas before she finally realized that she'd willingly put herself under the knife of this maniacal charlatan!

Nachlas' mutilation of my nose is so comprehensive that I STILL have not found a surgeon qualified (confident) enough to undo Nachlas' butchery.

I still cannot breathe through my nose; daily life sucks.

Nachlas will be held to account, fully.
