I hired Nation Relocation to move my things from North Carolina to Florida, put them in storage and then bring them to us once we purchased a home. They gave me an estimate of $2558 based on asking me questions about what all I had.

When they arrived two days late, they told me I had an overload of $1833 plus a $400 fuel charge. Unable to do anything at this point as we had to be out of the house, I let them pack up my belongings. They were to store them in a climate controlled warehouse near Dunedin Florida but this did not happen.

When I called to have my things delivered to my new home, they said there would be a delay but finally gave me a date of December 28, 2016. When that day came and went with no phone call, I then called them and was told that my belongings were on the truck but they had been involved in an accident and there would be a delay of a day.

After not hearing from them again, I called back on December 30, 2016 and was told it would be delivered on December 31. When that day came and went I again called to find out, "I wasnt on the schedule." When I asked who was in charge, I was hung up on and they would not accept my calls for the rest of the day.

I finally got hold of them on January 3, 2017, and was told "they were looking into it and would get back with me," but they never did. On January 4, they told me they were loading my things onto the truck and would deliver them late on the 5th or the 6th. Obvioulsy they never had my things on a truck to begin with as stated on December 28.

When the truck arrived on January 6, 2017, they began to unload someone elses things. I kept telling them they werent mine. They unloaded most of my belongings in terrible condition. Couches were filthy, boxes were broken and furniture was damaged. Many things were missing to include expensive tools and a recliner. When I asked them where my belongings had been, the driver said Georgia, so they were never stored in Florida as contracted.

They said they found the recliner and would deliver it. I had to call several times to make that happen and on February 7, 2017, I awoke to find my recliner in the driveway covered in dew and tears. They were supposed to deliver it that morning and take away the things that dont belong to me. When I called the driver, he said his supervisor told him just to leave the chair in my driveway. I still have 3 boxes of someone elses things.

I filed a claim complete with pictures of the damage and proof of missing items and my emails have gone unanswered. When someone at the company does take my calls, they say they are looking into it but it could take up to 120 days as they have so many claims.

Clearly, this company is hoping I give up and go away but that is not going to happen!!
