Nation Wide Auto Network (scott Straight) stole $500 from visa account ,told me three times he would credit it back, all lies, real scumbag Patterson New Jersey
I purchased a 2005 mason dump truck with plow from Scott Straight of nation wide auto network from ebay for $23,600. I contacted him minutes after the auction by phone. He told me he would need my visa number in order to hold the truck. He said that he would credit the $500 back into my account when I picked up the truck and paid $23,600 plus $199 transfer fees. My 28 year old son drove me to his lot to pick up the truck. On that day I paid him $23,800 in cash in his office with my son and grandaughter present. Since the truck came equipped with a practically new plow worth $3500-$4500 he wrote the vehicle receipt for $18,000 to reduce the sales tax I would have to pay on the truck. He then asked me for my visa card so he could put the $500 deposit back into my account. When I look at the paper receipt it looked like a charge instead of a credit. He assured me it was a credit and if I had any problems on my visa statement to call him and he would take care of it. My next statement had two $500 charges on it from him. I called him and he told me that he would take care of it. He never did. I contacted visa they removed both charges but they put $500 charge back on because he claimed that $500 was for a plow he sold me. I made out every form and jumped through every hoop visa requested. He did not send them the $500 plow receipt he claimed to have and has never returned any calls to the dipute department and they still gave him my $500. The person at visa told me she beleived me and not him and they still gave him the money. I have a $500 charge on my account which I will not pay. I believe that visa didnt do anything for me except get the paper work of their desk. I have been a customer with chase visa for 30 years with perfect credit. This has been going on since 1-19-08 and Im getting tired of it. I am not a quitter and I will do whatever it takes to prosecute this theif and find justice. I have contacted others from ebay who have had the same thing done to them from scott straight. This theif needs to be stopped.
