National Action Financial Services Unfair debt collection, threatening, yelling, harrassment Norcross Georgia
For several weeks I have been contacted almost daily by NAFS, sometimes twice daily for a debt they claim I owe of $168 dollars. When I was actually able to talk to a human being and asked what account this was connected to, they told be it was my old MBNA credit card. I politely explained to the person that I had completed a pay-off arrangement on that account with the original lender and had indeed paid it off. I told her I would send her a copy of the pay-off letter. When I could not find my copy, she called back and began yelling at me that I would have to pay it off or face dire consequences. I explained to her that I didn't owe the original company any money and certainly didn't owe her company a dime. I then stated that her company must quit calling me. She stated they would call me as much as they liked until I paid this off.
In short, they are HARRASSING me on money I don't even owe. I've sent them a formal cease and desist letter. If they continue to call me I will sue.

Its not your responsibilty to prove YOU PAID IT -
ITS THEIR RESPONSIBILITY TO VALIDATE THE DEBT IS YOURS.
THEY CAN'T that is why they continue to call you.
