Complaint Review: National Advertising Agency / Rob Mahanes

Rob came to me about advertising in Living Well Today magazine and I told him I didn't have the money.  After a brief presentation & alot of lying statistics he convinced me to buy into his crap. He assured me the initial check would be held for 3 weeks because I didn't have the money in my account.  The check went thru in 3 days.  Then, the phone calls he promise would come immediately didn't come for a couple weeks.  Then, the proof of my ad for me to approve of never came.  Then the television commercials I was promised never got set up.  Then, even though he promised I would not be billed for a few months, and then have 4 months to make payments, I received my first bill within 30 days and after 2 months received a final notice that I owed the whole $1084!  I wouldn't pay until they returned my calls, which they never did...instead, they wrote fraudulant checks in my wife's name drawing money out of our account.  I got my bank to fix that.  Then they threatened to seize my accounts, so I came up with all the money, draining everything i had to get rid of them...and in the transaction, they illegally took out more than they said they were going to, which my bank is now trying to reverse again!!!  Avoid them at all cost, run away and hide if Rob Mahanes approaches you!!!
