Complaint Review: National Alliance for Insurance Education and Research

This organization has been scamming me and others for decades and it's time that I joined the chorus of disgruntled students.  

I didn't believe the rantings of students that were frustrated, angry, and betrayed by this shadowy organization that sells seats in live and webinar-based classes to increase professional accuity.  The accusations were that there is no accountability whatsoever for them.  It's all behind closed doors.  

Credentials are five modules in width.  To succeed one must successfully pass all five proctored essay examinations. 

The fraud that I and others are alleging is that there is no accountability for "failures".  

They can, and I believe have and will continue to provide letters of failure to students, forcing students to pay the full tuition to re-take the class, all while maintaining the requirement that the full cycle must take place within a specified time constraint.  Ratcheting up the pressure to hurry up and pay another $420 (per class!) to re-take the entire class including a new exam, pay another proctor fee, and hope and pray that one "passes".

I failed a test.  This much is true.  However I have no idea if I earned 69% or 9%.  And they never have to share the actual results!  The joke is on me!  What is their motivation?  Selling class seats.  At a healthy $420 per seat.

With NO ACCOUNTABILITY and NO system of checks and balances.

As hard as I've worked and as hard as I have struggled to complete this process, I'll be a fool no more and highly encourage other insurance professionals seeking credentials and education to pursue it elsewhere, where the veil of secrecy is not maintained.
