I contacted this company to inquire about health insurance and asked for information to be sent to me via mail. They asked information from me and I stupidly gave them personal information. It seemed to be the only way I could learn more about their insurance. They indicated info would come very shortly.

The info did not come, so I did not think any more about it, until a withdrawal showed up on my next month's bank statement. I called the same 800 number and was given another person to speak with. Finally they indicated insurance information would be sent to me. When it did come, the first thing I noticed was their statement that they were not a "major medical" insurance plan. I had 30 days to cancel which I did.

I received notice on Oct. 29, 2007 that my request was being processed and a refund would be sent in the next 20 business days. No refund has yet been received.

I called on Jan 31, 2008 to see what was the delay. I was told "due to litigation" refunds could not be sent out. The person could not elaborate.

I also sent an e-mail on Jan 29, 2008 and received a reply on Feb 1, 2008, stating that "all refund checks have a hold on them until your agent releases the enrollment fee back to us. When you sign up for the benefits, the agent adds on a one time enrollment fee of $125.00; when you cancel in your "30 day right to review" we give a full refund. We can not give a full refund until the agent releases the funds. Because of these issues with these marketers, the association has terminated the relationship with all of them. We hope to have all this resolved shortly."

A phone call today indicates the monies have been received and they have 4 months refunds to handle and they are working on them now. She took my name and phone number for a return call as no one was in the office now.

I am tired of their stalls and want to help others from falling into the same predicament.
