National Asset Management, FBCS - Worldwide Asset Purchasing ripoff Marietta Georgia
I had received a VISA NEXT CARD, in feb.2000. They wanted to settle my acc. for 315.00. I sent them the money and my acct. was closed.
Next thing in heard the company had gone B-K so I called the number I had because I had never received a letter stating that my acct. was closed or charged off. I called quite a few times never got calledback.
Now since Oct.2004 I have been reciving calls from National Asset Managment stating they bought my acct. from Bank of Omaha, and are trying to collect balance plus interest!! I sent them 1 payment just to stop the calls until I could check it out. It came back undeliverable.
Now they call 4,5,6,7, times a day at any time. I told them I want something in writting. They said they wrote to me in 2000, and now my balance has gone from 435, to allmost900 dollars!
I can't find any up to date info on these people. They refuse to send anything in writing. I refuse to send them money until they do. Meanwhile it is on my credit report. Does anyone know anything about this company(s)?

Hello there,
sorry to hear about your situation with this company. I have recently been contacted by them for a balanced I owed to a vitamin company. I just spoke with them today actually and they insisted that I pay over the phone to avoid it being reported to my credit. First of all the amount is $104.92 to be exact and this was for a product that did not require my social security number or anything in depth. I told the agent I will send the amount to your companies address. I do not know what you may want to do but let me give you two site's to check out.
www.creditinfo.com - Very helpful for things like this.
www.nationalmanagement.net - This is their website with all of their information.
Good luck, hope it helps.
