It has been a long time since our son graduated from NAHETS and there are no jobs. NO JOBS!

This school will tell you whatever you want to hear to get you in the front door and your Easy-Government-School-Loan-Money into their pockets. It all looks great on paper and in the print media. Looks and sounds great on YouTube, etc....but the cold, hard, facts are that you or a loved one will simply wind up with a $10,000-$40,000+ loan on their backs and NO JOB.

Just don't go here unless you absolutely have no choice. Wish we had our money back.

Don't go there"....

"Don't go there"....NAHETS will tell you anything to get you in the front door. Please take a moment and consider....you have a son who has decided that this is what he wants to do but there is no way to get the education or certification he needs. Other than to wind his way through the labyrinthine course through the Union. All of a sudden there is a new school right here in Northern California that can give him what he needs IN THREE WEEKS!We were so excited on our son's behalf. It was an absolute shock to our systems that it would cost nearly $10,000 for only three weeks but they assured us it would be well worth it.

Everything they told us was couched in positive terms...."starting pay is average $67,000. Minimum is around $45-$47,000." "The jobs are out there", etc. You know! You are being told or have already been told the same things!DON'T GO THERE!! Don't go there unless....you are willing to go the entire four levels. Maybe three at the minimum. Otherwise, your experience will be the same as ours--no jobs available at the entry level even if you are well connected as we are.Guess where you CAN work? You must be willing to either freeze or fry. You will be told in very encouraging terms about the grad who got his first job offer of $100,000. Wow!

Yes, well not all grads will appreciate having their faces sheered off in a sandstorm in 120+degree weather-- in Saudi Arabia!OR....ready for this? I watched in amazement all this past two weeks as Ann Curry reported from McMurdo Station ....in the SOUTH POLE! To quote her...."any exposed skin feels like your skin is on fire". Wonderful. Either freeze or fry ....or wish to God that you could turn back the clock and get your money back from NAHETS. Buyer beware! Our only purpose in establishing this website is to prevent other families from our heartache. And expense! Most of the other young men there were Hispanic....and none of the many Hispanic families we know can afford to throw away $10,000.Buyer beware. (IF you feel that this review is heavy-handed or unfair in any way, please share your experience.)
