Joined NADN in July, 2003. I was luckier (?) than most and did get them to do my taxes. Got a nice refund, $7300, paid them $3000 plus an additional $3000 to do my taxes for 5 years. Now they are in Chapter 7. IRS is not allowing the ADA tax credit. I consulted an attorney.
His advise was to immediately file an ammended tax return for 2003. I will probably owe fees but he thought better to pay now than have the IRS knock on my door a few years from now and have incurred higher penalties. If you joined this consumer fraud you may want to bit the bullet now and see a CPA.
