I signed up for NADN's "Tax Strategy" package in Feb. 2002. I decided to cancel membership the very next day after reading about some of their bad practices. Trying to collect the $995 refund has been a nightmare and the worst customer service I have ever seen. They have never returned phone calls and everyday I call and receive the same response, that "Your refund is in processing". I have filed complaints with the Nevada Attorney General and the Federal Trade Commission.

If you have any other information that would help, it would be greatly appreciated. Contact me by using the rebuttal box.

Thanks for your time.

22 months later, I have finally received a full refund. Maybe this website helped..

I'm not sure what finally provoked NADN to issue my refund, but 22 months later, I have finally received it in full amount of $995.

Maybe this website helped, because the check was cut 2 weeks after I posted my Rip-Off report. But I also started sending faxes every week threatening to report them to multiple agencies. As a matter of fact, I just recently received the following letter from "The State of Nevada Office of the Attorney General".

Re: National Audit Defense Network, Inc. (NADN); Tax Coach, Inc., d/b/a Tax Ready (Tax Ready)

Dear Sir or Madame:

This correspondence is being directed to all consumers who submitted complaints to this office regarding the above-referenced companies and, according to our records, have not yet secured refunds. If you have secured a refund from NADN or any other source (e.g. credit card company), please take a moment to update our records by telephone at (702) 486-3194 or by e-mail at bcpinfo@ag.state.nv.us.

For consumers with refunds still outstanding, we regret to inform you that NADN has filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy protection and that this action precludes the State from seeking monetary relief on your behalf. You may, however, be entitled to secure some or all of your refund from the bankruptcy estate.

All potential creditors of NADN must submit a completed Proof of Claim to the following address:

United States Bankruptcy Court
333 Las Vegas Boulevard South
Las Vegas, Nevada 89101

As a courtesy, we have enclosed a Proof of Claim form to assist you. If you have any questions regarding the bankruptcy case, including questions regarding the filing of a Proof of Claim, you must call the U.S. Bankruptcy Court directly at (702) 388-6257. Your reference will be to Case No. BK-S-03-17306-RCJ.

I hope the foregoing information is of value to you. Should the State require any further assistance with its pending case for injunctive relief, we will contact the necessary consumers directly.

Sincerely,

BRIAN SANDOVAL
Attorney General
