On April 15, 2003, I heard on a reputable radio station owned by Clear Channel an advertisment for tax help. I called and signed up, at a cost of 810.95, with a garuteed refund promised to me. I was told a tax rep would contact me shortly.

This never happened, so I called to cancel the service. I was told by a customer representative that he would submit my cancellation request to his manager and I would receive an e-mail with instructions. I received the e-mail with instructions to return the package within 7 days, about a week later I received the package from the NADN which I immediately returned unopened.

Now the waiting game began. I called NADN almost everyday for two solid months. I got the run around the entire time.

I looked them up online, found this site and relized I would most likely never see my money again. Until I read about one woman who went to her bank.

Where ever you are, thank you.

I called my bank and said that I did not receive my refund as promised, all I had to do is write them a letter, and they refunded me my money, and said that Visa would go after NADN for their money.

The story should end there, but alas, I decided to continue it. The day I got my refund, I heard ANOTHER ad on ANOTHER radio station owned by Clear Channel. I came back to this site and noticed that alot of other folks had heard of NADN the same way.

So I decided to do something about it and I e-mailed the VP of sales at Clear Channel and told him the story and suggested that NADN was using Clear Channel to promote its scam. Instead of going right at NADN I Decided to go at them through the backdoor.

If you were ripped off by NADN, and used your Visa card, or even your Visa checkcard, CALL your bank. They will help. Tell them you did not receive the services as promised or that you did not receive your refund as promised. Also, write to Eddie Martiny at Clear Channel and tell him your story and ask that he quit promoting this scam company on the air.

Good Luck!
