National Auto Clearinghouse is not playing the game fair I had won the game that they sent out the my home by mail..the game is called $:the price is right scratch off... it's says-Scratch off all circles on cards. If you match 3 amouts in a row (horizontal, vertical or diagonal) YOU WIN!

There are 3 cards. 3chances to win. play all 3. If you are a winner call immediately! 1-866-509-9502...which i did so.then enter your confirmation number the six number that i have and i do that also it confirmed that im a winner...proceed to Thrifty Car Sales Ft Myers Shores Supersale during event dates and time to claim your prize..as I can say "what d**n price.. The person that dealt with me told me something totally different and yes it was a game...A game and trick. They used that game that they sent out to our homes to get us out there to buy a car... That not a fair game to play beacuse their were alots of upset folks out there including myself...I had my mind on picking up my 500.00 buck that i won fair and square... help me out what should i do now?

Korf Continental would like to take the time to thank the author of this complaint for their time and comments. Here at Korf we take every review very seriously and use this information to help improve our way of doing business. It was never in anyway our intention to make anyone feel like they are being scammed. We do many events and have winners of several prizes including but not limited to $10,000.00, vehicles, gift cards and more. Of course not everyone wins the grand prize and after looking at this particular mailer we can see how it could have been concluded. Actions have been taken to make sure this does not happen in the future. We are sorry your experience was not they you had hoped for and thank you again for bringing this to our attention

The Prize is Right event at Korf Continental in Fort Morgan, CO. First of all; the key is a China product that will break with any pressure at all. It is good to use on the scratch-off ticket you will get at the end of the spoof. The mailer states that "Truckloads of forfeited, surplus and bank owned vehicles have been gathered for immediate sale, and at liquidation prices!" There is your first RED FLAG. If you live anywhere around Fort Morgan, CO you know that the merchandise sitting on their lot has been there for the good part of a year or two. Surplus? Have you ever seen a surplus car? Bank owned is what everyone who has a car payment is driving as it is bank owned. So, yes they will have some of those which are actually trade ins. You will be priced at Kelly Blue Book retail or NADA retail on every vehicle to start with. Where it says no payments for 90 days, it would actually only be 45 days till first payment and if you want the full 90 days, the dealership will take your first payment out of their $4500 profit and make it for you. This is for their protection against a first payment default. Also, in the disclaimer it says that the $1000 down payment assistance has no cash value, there is your second RED FLAG. Down payment assistance to me means one of two things, either they assist you in lifting your wallet out of your pocket for the removal of your cash, or they will give you $1000 in cash, which you know will never happen. The voucher they use is an illusion of assistance. It enables them to increase the price of the vehicle by $1000 or more and then by presenting the voucher it becomes a discount which is not realy cash assistance, it is just an illusion the National Auto Clearinghouse mailer markets to you. Trust me, you are only getting a $2 bill for all the time you will spend there. It's all about checking your credit, finding out how much cash you have to put down on a car, and if you can afford a $600 payment. When you realize it was a bad idea you will get a scratch off ticket providing you an opportunity to win $25000, which according to the odds printed in the small print you will have no shot at winning. Now you now can use the key you were wondering about, on the scratch off.

If you have never been duped before then you should go. This once in a lifetime event will be held in another unsuspecting marketing area soon, like in two weeks!

Scratch off fine print

#4General Comment

Thu, November 01, 2012

I had also received a similar scratch off game and when you win the game, all that means is you qualify for another scratch off game to play in order to have a chance to win the actual money. Must read and understand the fine print as the brochure does explain it, in my form at least, how it works. I must say that I was both excited at first, but then as reality set in I realized that when something sounds to good to be true, it usually is.
