Ive had a vechicle with this "people" for ever a year and every payment day to now has been horrilbe. Sometimes ill have the money and just wont pay because the thought of speaking with these people drives me crazy. I bought a 2002 altima in 2007 for 18000+ 70000 miles a month later the car has a crazy noise when i get it checked its the motor mont. ????

Second i lost my job and went behind in payments over a little over a month i let them be aware of this and made small payments when one day @ 4:00 am they take the vehicle, i go to pick it up and they are straight a** holes i was late 600 and hey chrged me 1480 to get my car back??? now ever since when they call to ask for a payment even a day early they through it in my face how i went crying to there office begging them to give me the car back and that they will repo if i dont pay. I belive you dont do that, ok your a business but because you are you should know how to treat people yes im late but ive been unemployeed for 6months and little jobs i get like cleaning houses i use it all up to make a payment but they do not see that. I would NOT recomend these people to anybody my mother, father and uncle have had a vehicle with them and everyone has had to let their vehicle get repo because they cannot deal with them!

NATIONAL auto sales SUCKS! ***warning please no matter how desperate you are keep looking, thats where i failed"!!!!

If the consumer had paid he wouldnt be so bitter i had fell on hard times with national but not that d**n delinquent you were just irresponsible with making your payments if you had called and told them the situation they would have worked with you . stop your wining and dont get a vehicle until u can afford to pay. you are be littling yourself by making the remarks and they are probably happy they dont have to deal with u anymore,as well.

More info has come to light on this particular customer.

As stated above:
-Customer was in default many times
-Car was repoed once before
-Arrangement with the customer to avoid repossession and to make payments that were past due were not honored by the customer

In addition:

-Insurance has lapsed on several occasions which by law insurance must be carried at all times on the vehicle

-When the vehicle was picked up in May of 2009 the account was in serious default.

-The car was received back with body damage to the drivers door and mirror and the passenger front window and passenger rear vent window were broken out. The car was also not properly maintained.

As a finance company we provided a loan to this customer and they broke contractual agreement to make payment as required by contract. Even though this agreement was broken we worked with this customer on several occasions to avoid repossession but agreements to pay were not held up on customers end which resulted in the first repossession. We even agreed to give the customer a second chance which resulted in the customer defaulting again and ultimately resulted in a second repossession. On top of that we received the vehicle back with considerable damage.

Again, it is unfortunate that this individual had to vent on here without giving all the facts and that we have to defend ourselves against false claims but we will do so because we have worked hard to establish ourselves as a honest, reputable company.

National Auto Sales has been in business for almost 2 decades and has a good reputation in the area for providing quality vehicles and quality service. We appreciate our customers very much and value their business. The large majority of our customers are good, honest, hardworking people that are a joy to do business with and that we have a good relationship with. We do a lot of repeat business and referrals because of our good reputation and I will not stand for one individual to tarnish that reputation when they are at fault.

Mon, May 11, 2009

Facts on this account:

-Vehicle was purchased in Jan 2008
-Been repoed once before and we let customer redeem
-Been late 9 times including before and after repo
-Car was voluntarily given back by Customer in May 2009 and was 3 payments behind at time the customer gave the car back.

We tried to work with this individual several times since purchase of the vehicle. Payments have been seriously late numerous times. Car was repoed once before and finally the customer gave the vehicle back after being 3 payments behind.

If this individual is upset and resorts to trying to make us look bad by posting it on the internet then people should know the facts.

Again, we don't take slanderous claims against our company lightly and we don't appreciate this particular individual making slanderous and potentially damaging claims against our company for fault of their own.

I am sorry that you felt the need to bash our company and resort to profanity to a website that fails to get all the facts but rather just let's someone vent.

I am not a big fan of this website because it fails to get both sides of the story. Rather it just let's a customer vent without giving readers a true assessment of the situation and possibly commit slander against our company.

This website which allows individuals to resort to slander or defamation of our company without all the facts being reported is not taken lightly since since we have spent almost 2 decades building a solid reputation and for a customer to be able to vent on this website without readers getting all the facts is dangerous and could be hurtful to our business.

Without knowing your name, situation, acct#, etc. it's tough to find out what really happened and get both sides of the story correct.

National Auto Sales has been in business over 17 years and has serviced tens of thousands accounts and we have a good reputation for selling quality vehicles and we get much of our business from word of mouth and referrals.

If we had to repo your vehicle then there was good reason to do so. By your own admission you were not making your payments and chances are there were ongoing problems with your account. If you were not making your payments then any company-not just us would have no choice but to repossess your vehicle. You sound very bitter that a vehicle was repossessed that we sold to you in agreement that you would make your payments. If you got that far behind it sounds like we already tried to work with you.

If a customer contacts us and is having some problems making a payment on time then we assess that on an individual basis. Again, if we had to repo your vehicle then we had good reason to do so and chances are you were in serious default, probably been in default previous times before, and any agreement we made with you to help you get your account current was not being held up on your end.
