I used this company because they could ship my vehicle (1999 Honda Accord) quickly from San Jose, CA to Dayton, OH. When they gave me the original estimate ($950), they said 8-10 business days and for $50 more, faster delivery of 3 business days. I paid $1000 dollars total and expected to receive the car the following week (May 13-17). The car was shipped 5/9/02 and as of 6/15/02 the car had not arrived in Dayton, OH.

It is almost impossible to contact this company. Their phone system goes in circles, and getting a customer service person on the line entails upto 1 hour waits and getting disconnected many times. All messages I have left to call me back have not been returned.

I did once get a person on the line on 5/17/02 and they told me that their standard charge was $1000 (not $950 as I was quoted +$50 for expedited delivery) and they told me that it is impossible for them to deliver the car in 3 business days. They said I should expect the car the following week 5/20 - 5/25 since their standard delivery time is 8-10 days. Unfortunately, the car did not show up (2 weeks later) and I could not contact anyone in the company who can help me.

Finally, completely frustrated with this company, I called the actual shipping company (National Auto Transport is only a broker), and was able to locate the car. The car had arrived in Dayton, OH, but National Auto Transport had not give the shipping company my phone number or any contact information.

I arranged pickup of the car with the shipping company and received my car. However, to this day (it is now 9/30/02), I have never heard from National Auto Transport to even tell me my car has arrived. If I had not done all of their work for them and found my car, I would still be sitting here with no car.

So to summarize, these are my complaints:

1. They lied to me in the sales process both on price and delivery time.

2. It is almost impossible to reach them to solve the problem.

3. They probably don't even know I have my car and could care less. They took my money and forgot about me.

I was also a victim of these inept idiots. Back a few years ago I contracted with them to have a 72 olds Cutlass shipped from Miami to detroit. They told me it would be 7 to 10 days before my car arrived. On the 11th day I called wondering where my car was and they assured me it was on it's way. After 2 weeks of waiting and wondering if my car was stolen I called again and was bascially told NOT to bother them again and hung up on me. I tried several more times to get a hold of them, but as soon as they knew who I was they kept hanging up on me. 5 day's later I finally got my car. I will NEVER deal with this sham of a business EVER again!
