I have worked at my new job since February where I am responsible for answering phones. I've received a phone call from this company every day at least once a day since I've been here. At first it didn't bother me because it's not hard to hang up on a recording and I answer the phone all day long. But today they called again and I can't stand hearing "This is your 2nd and final notice..." for the 100th time. So i did some research for the benefit of myself and all the people putting up posts saying they have the same problem but can find no resolution.

The company is called National Auto Warranty Services by the young man I connected with today. After a few minutes I found a post on the internet saying that www.oneautowarranty.com is their website, but their name isn't listed on the site. I called the 1-800-753-0870 number listed on this site as the "DS Administrative Offices" number, and they answer with "National Auto Warranty Services".

I spoke with a surprisingly friendly girl named Melissa, I requested that my business phone number be added to their do-not-call list, asked how long it would take before the calls stopped, and she said within a week. She then thanked me for calling, bid me a good day, and said goodbye (no rude hangups).

Now we will see if they actually stop calling, but those of you having the same problems might want to try that number and kindly request that you be removed from their calling list.

It is now Monday, July 21st, 2008. 6 working days since I requested that my phone number be put on their do-not-call list (the woman told me it would take a week to process). I have not received a single phone call today from anyone trying to sell me an auto warranty. I'll update again if I get another phone call, but I believe that there is hope after all for those of you who are pestered by this company.
