Complaint Review: National Awards Commission

I received a letter from the National Awards Commission regarding a prize in the amount of $5,000.00. I never even entered a contest with these people, but blindly sent them a check for $11.89, thinking that this was an honest contest.

I haven't received any other requests for money (yet), but after reading some other responses on this web site I'm sure it's only a matter of time. I have received about 3 to 4 other contest requests for money, or "registration fees" in the past week that I have since shredded, thanks to this web site.
