I received a solicitation from "National Business Directories Corporation" to have my firm listed in "The National Machinery Manufacturers Directory." The Directory would be sent "FREE" to all buisnesses. No charge was ever mentioned about an "inclusion fee." After completing -- They asked for Name and Title -- and faxing back the form, I started to receive faxed invoices for $199.00 for the "inclusion fee," BUT the "Directory" would be sent free to my company. I've received a half-dozen such faxed invoices and simply ignored them.

Beware of ANY listing in ANY directory solicited via fax or US mail. These are relatives of "toner phoners" who call from "the central warehouse" and they've lost their records of "your copy/fax machine's model number." Whereupon they send you a ton of toner and a bill far in excess of regular retail pricing. Same thing happens with flourescent light bulbs: "It's time to re-order, etc." Same song, differrent product. Beware! Beware! And, be wary!
