This school lied from the get-go with their promises of being able to be certified as a Medical Coder, including telling me that Sutter, Kaiser and Mercy CHW all hired directly from them (which is NOT true).

I am paying $6700.00 in student loans back for a bad class in medical terminology and anatomy, AND they gave us all old versions of books. For the price tag I should have known better when all my books were at least a year old.

The instructors barely knew how to code using ICD-9 and CPT. Their teaching of medical coding consisted of them handing me a book and telling me to read it, then answer the questions. Sometimes I was able to ask them questions and get the right answer but not often. By the end of my classes there I was teaching them!

I had to get my own externship together, and their lifetime placement consists of a person surfing the internet and emailing you job ads from craigslist.com.

I plan to contact my local news, attorney general's office, and Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology (their accreditor)regarding this matter, not to mention a lawyer, unless I am able to be refunded.

This was the most costly mistake I ever made in my life, don't let this happen to you!
