National Carpet Care Of Longwood, Inc. Double charge for service and refuses to refund money 518 DOUGLAS AVE., SUITE 1234 ALTAMONTE SPRINGS , Florida
? Very Unprofessional service, I would not recommend anyone to use the Services of NATIONAL CARPET CARE OF LONGWOOD, INC.
Before taking advantage of a great promo on Groupon for Carpet cleaning for 1,500 square feet or 7 rooms, whichever comes first for $59.00. I call the offices of National Carpet Care of Longwood, Inc. and talked to Mr. Clint V. Bowling the Owner, and asked him if it was okay if I purchased the 7 Room promo and exchange 2 rooms; since my house is only 5 rooms, for an area rug. He told me that it was fine and that there was no problem.
We schedule the appointment for Wednesday between 1 to 4 PM. The first warning sign showed at 2 o Clock on Wednesday when I received a call from Mr. Clint V. Bowling, saying that the person who was going to clean the carpets was running late and that he should be arriving between 5 and 6 PM. Second warning, at 6 Pm I receive another call, this time from the technician Jim, telling me he was running late and that he should be arriving to my house in about 30 minutes, He finally arrive at 7PM!! Totally unacceptable.
When the technician arrive to my house, he up-sale the service offering conditioner for the carpet and deodorizing adding the total to $240.00, before the technician leave the house and I noticed he had added $50.00 for the Area rug, an unfortunately for me the card had been already charge for the $240.00.
I explain Jim the Technician that Mr. Clint v. Bowling said it was okay to exchange the rooms for the area rug, but due that it was already 9PM there was nothing we could do. Next day when I tried to Contact Mr. Clint V. Bowling and explain him the situation and ask for a refund of the extra $50.00 I had been charged the night before. He told me that there were no refunds and that he knew exactly what I was trying to do and get stuff for free!!! He raised his voice in avery inappropriate manner and told me there was nothing he would do for me and hang up the phone. I just want to clarify that there was not even a reason for his attitude, it had pass maybe 5 minutes on the phone, an my only request was a refund for something had said was okay to do.
As a business owner I would never do such a rude an unprofessional thing to any one. I hope this review a serves as a warning to others that come across National Carpet Care of Longwood, Inc. and/or his owner Mr. Clint V. Bowling.

National Carpet care and Groupon have partnered together to offer our customers discounted services. These services are specific and clearly outlined. We cannot substitute services and we do not offer substitutions as an option for cleaning multi colored area rugs. Our company does not engage in unprofessional conduct on the phone or in person from our service technicians. National Carpet care Inc., offers a variety of services and when compared to our competitors is the best price for the best service, in order to remain competitive we continue to offer our services at the best price, but we cannot do work for less than cost to the company. This is reasonable, it is understood by all of our satisfied customers with a few exceptions.
This customer never disputes the quality of service, only that the agreed upon price for the additional services he authorized for the area rug PRIOR to cleaning was $50. to high. Had he mentioned it prior to cleaning we would have not cleaned the area rug (which was also discounted) and no cost would have been incurred.
