National Cellular Owners Association - NCOA Insurance Fraud Boca Raton Florida
NCOA states on their website "Customers are secure in the knowledge that they are protected in case of theft, accidental loss or damage to their cell phone." This is not true. On March 13th I lost my phone while while watching a parade with my son. The phone must have slipped out of its case. There were hundreds of people and was unable to find it after searching for over an hour.
I submitted a claim, and was promptly denied. Reason: "Water Damage", and "Failure to Excercise Proper Care and Control"? I immediatly responded to their email explaining that there was no water involved (no rain or snow on the ground) and my phone was placed in the case. The case came with the phone.I received an email a couple of days later from a "suzelle" who stated that if I was unhappy with the decision to provide more information. I esponded with said information. This was over a week ago and have since sent 3 emails and have yet to get a response.
I am disgusted with this company and their unethical business practices, and third rate customer service.
