I would like for other consumers, like me, not to be cheated or lied to by this company.

Last year, I began my debt consolidation program with NCRC. They told me not to contact the creditors, only to close the accounts. They also told me not to make any payments. To send them the first payment of $250.00. They also told me that the money would be directly taken out of my account on a specific date. Mind you, My payments were not late and I had already begun my credit repairing on my own, but thought that by going through a debt consolidation program, it would be even better.

Low and behold. My first payment was kept as an incentive to finish the program within 4 years. I made another payment. The payments are sent to the creditors late because all of a sudden they no longer deduct money from checking accounts. My payments are late all the time.

My credit debt is almost double because of late fees and over the limit fees that they have created for me. When I call them they give me a song and dance and the guy who set up my account Bobby, no longer works there. He missed informed me about the late payments and over the limit fees. He said that they would be removed. But it never happened.

Also, they are non-profit, but charge a fee for the processing of their paper work-more than what they pay my creditors. Another option that I had was that I could send in extra cash and it would be applied to the bill for next month. Another lie. They send in everything in one shot.

They are liars!!! Do not use this company for debt consolidation.

Steve Rubino, President of NCRC, would spend hours a day doing damage control on sites just like this one. Above you'll see one of his more convincing rebuttals. Even includes figures that they promise potential clients. Don't fall for it.

NCRC is not a scam. I had a rough start with them, but it was because of my creditors. so far all the problems have been worked out.I have been with them for 44 payments and my credit bills have greatly reduced.

It seems that they pay off the highest bills first, then when they are paid, they apply all that money to the smaller bills, making them disapear quickley at the end of the program.

LOOK:9,000 down to 3,000 6,000 down to 3,000 1,500 down to 1,400 (keeping them quiet} I have one more card the same way . I was sceduled to have 52 payments.

Looks like they are going to do what they said they would for me,unless somehow they are put out of business by people who just don't understand. $25 a month of my payment goes to them ,hey! thats fair!!

In the begining I had a few problems , mostly because of the credit cards. They don't want you to go into this program, they lose money. AHHHHH the late fees.I even got a blemish on my TRW because of a creditor{not ncrc}.TRW is in good shape ,thanks NCRC
